Josh Frazier coaching a client during a private training session

3 pillars. 1 individual.

Your training history, current capacity, goals, and daily responsibilities determine the starting point. Coaching connects the work you do in a session with the way you eat, sleep, and recover between sessions.

Strength Training + Conditioning

Strength is the ability to produce force. We measure it through repeatable movements: the load you handle, the repetitions you complete, and the control you maintain. Strength relative to body weight matters, too. You are the engine, and you must be able to move it.

Your perception gives that progress another dimension. A weight feels manageable. Stairs demand less effort. You trust yourself to perform a task that once felt beyond you. Confidence belongs alongside the numbers; it does not replace them.

Training develops the squat, hinge, push, pull, lunge, and carry through appropriate practice and progressive loading. Conditioning builds your capacity to sustain effort and recover. The program evolves as your performance and recovery change.

Nutrition + Fuel

Food supports the work you ask your body to do. Coaching builds the behaviors that make that possible: planning, shopping, preparing, cooking, and eating. We work with your preferences and circumstances, practicing manageable changes you can repeat. No single diet is the answer for every person.

Sleep + Recovery

The work matters. Your ability to recover from it matters just as much. Sleep routines, stress, and accumulated fatigue inform the training plan. We organize effort and recovery so you can keep making progress beyond a few motivated weeks.

Training in Sherman Oaks: facility or home

Choose the setting that supports consistent training. Facility-based sessions provide access to training equipment; in-home sessions require adequate equipment and usable space. Before you start, we confirm the facility arrangement or review your home setup, location, and availability. All sessions are by appointment.

Home equipment needs depend on your goals and starting point. We assess what is available before recommending equipment or committing to a program.

GLP-1 treatment and a capable body

GLP-1 medications can support meaningful weight loss and, for appropriate patients, improvements in metabolic health. As weight changes, muscle and physical function still deserve attention. Weight loss can include lean tissue as well as fat.

Progressive resistance training and adequate nutrition, including protein, help support muscle preservation. Body size alone does not tell us how strong, well-nourished, or physically capable someone is.

Planning, preparing, cooking, and eating remain important when appetite decreases. Coaching helps you practice those behaviors alongside your prescribed care. Medication decisions belong with your prescribing clinician.
